FAQs

Here are my most frequently asked questions. Reach out by phone for answers to more specific questions

For couples, I use PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy), which draws on neuroscience, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation to help partners feel safe, connected, and responsive to each other.

For individual therapy, I use psychodynamic and object relations approaches. That means we look at the deeper emotional patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others — especially the ones that got built early and might still be running the show.

I’m an out-of-network provider and do not accept Medicaid. However, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance. I recommend checking with your insurance company to see what your plan covers.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and offer focused, in-depth work tailored to your needs. Couples sessions, following the PACT model, are 1 hour and 50 minutes (110 minutes) to allow time for real-time interaction and deeper relational work.

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what’s been getting in the way. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your history and current patterns, and we’ll begin to see how the work might take shape.

For individuals, weekly 50-minute sessions help support consistency and meaningful progress.

For couples, 110-minute sessions are typically scheduled every other week. Many couples start with a few sessions to address key issues, and we adjust the frequency and duration based on your needs and the depth of the work.

I work with both individuals and couples. My individual work focuses on helping people understand themselves more deeply, shift long-standing patterns, and build a stronger sense of self. In couples therapy, I use the PACT model to help partners create relationships that feel safe, secure, and connected.

I work with individuals and couples navigating a range of challenges, including:

  • Relationship struggles

  • Trust and attachment issues

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Low self-worth and shame

  • Trauma (relational, developmental, or complex)

  • Fear of abandonment or engulfment

  • Difficulty expressing needs or setting boundaries

  • Feeling emotionally numb or disconnected

  • Conflict cycles and communication breakdowns

  • Repeating painful patterns in love or friendship

  • Struggles with identity, autonomy, or self-agency

My approach is especially helpful for those who want to better understand themselves in relationships, shift long-standing patterns, and build more secure, fulfilling connections.

PACT isn’t just about talking through problems or learning communication tips. It focuses on helping couples feel safe, seen, and supported in real time. Using insights from how the brain and nervous system work—along with your unique attachment history—we look at what’s really driving conflict or disconnection.

PACT sessions are active and experiential. Instead of just talking about problems, we work through them together—so you can build a relationship that actually works under stress, not just in calm moments.

If you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, this work may be a good fit. Whether you’re in a partnership or seeking individual support, we’ll look at what’s underneath those patterns—not just to understand them, but to shift them.

Individual therapy sessions are $200 for 50 minutes.
Couples counseling sessions are $400 for 110 minutes.

I do not offer a sliding scale at this time.
